Last year’s September, Mongolia sent to Japan two tons of coal extracted from the Tavantolgoi deposit to carry out an experiment of washing and concentrating coal with sand. Recently, the Nagata Engineering company has sent good news to Mongolia about a successful result of the experimental works.
With an aim to augment outcome of the product, the experiment has combined two types of concentration technologies. As a result, the combination of concentration technology with sand and a technology called “air vibration table” have showed a high quality. The main feature of this technology is not using water, andthe utilization expense is relatively slow, the Japanese experts said.
Sinhron: The experimental work will continue. The scholars are now seeking solutions on how to use coal with a size of less than 0.5 mm, conducting an advanced analysis in sand in Mongolia andfinding a chance to erect a small-sized test factory.
