The 2021 Eagle Festival will be held in Sayat Tolgoi in Bugat soum of Bayan-Ulgii aimag on December 4-5. The Governor’s Office of Bayan-Ulgii aimag, Department of Environment and Tourism of Bayan-Ulgii aimag, and Mongolian Eagle Hunters' Association are co-organizing the festival, one of the major tourism events in Mongolia.

As Mongolia is one of the few remaining countries that continue to keep the 6000-year-old tradition of eagle hunting, the festival is organized twice a year, with one taking place in Ulaanbaatar in spring and the other in Bayan-Ulgii province in fall.
