The number of Uzbek tourists visiting Kazakhstan is growing every year. According to the latest data, 30 per cent of Uzbek citizens who travels abroad visit Kazakhstan for holiday purposes. The majority of them travels to Turkistan. In general, over the past year, over 7 million tourists visited Kazakhstan, including 3 million Uzbek tourists. According to specialists, the launch of the bus routes between Shymkent, Almaty and Tashkent played a key role in strengthening of the cross border cooperation and contributed to the mutual growth of the number of tourists between the two countries.

- My sister and I are traveling to Turkistan to the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. Before performing the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, we visit the Mausoleums of Yasawi and Arystan Bab in Turkistan.

- I live in Samarkand region. Today, I am going to pay my first visit to Kazakhstan. The ties between our countries are developing very well. In the past, the new magnificent Mausoleum named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi was constructed upon the order of Emir Timur. This is another proof that the culture, daily lives and the language of the Turkic people are interrelated.
