‘Azerbaijan is becoming one of the participants of global natural gas market’

Baku, June 2, AZERTAC “Thanks to the large-scale projects, Azerbaijan is becoming one of the important participants of the global natural gas market,” said head of the Gas Market Analysis Department at Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Mahdjouba Belaifa at the 24th Caspian International Oil & Gas Exhibition in Baku. “Due to the transportation of gas from Shah Deniz-2 to Europe, Azerbaijan will create a new source in the continent`s gas market. Such projects will contribute to the diversification of Europe`s energy infrastructure,” Belaifa added.
