“Managing in an Interconnected World: Pioneering Business and Technology Excellence” international conference underway at ADA University

Baku, July 9 (AzerTAc). The 16th annual international conference “Managing in an Interconnected World: Pioneering Business and Technology Excellence” is underway at ADA University. Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev provided an insight into the activities of the University. He also highlighted Azerbaijan`s achievements over the last years. Pashayev stressed the importance of successes gained in the fields of business and technology and experience exchange. Azerbaijani minister of communications and high technologies Ali Abbasov spoke of the importance of the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies in modern world. He stressed the role of information communication technologies in making these achievements possible. Executive Director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) Shahmar Movsumov touched upon the role of the Fund in the country`s economy. He also said the Fund was the member of several international institutions, adding SOFAZ financed the large economical and social projects which were important for the country`s economy. The event brought together over 175 scholars and executives from over 40 countries. The participants presented their scientific articles on the problems in cultural variety, technological, legal, and industrial issues. The four-day conference was co-organized by leading business and technological institutes from Portugal, New Zealand, the Czech Republic, Brazil, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, the South African Republic, Russia and Australia. The conference will last till Saturday.
