100pc Growth In Minerals, Construction Materials Exports

Bushehr, Oct 14, IRNA – The southern province of Bushehr has witnessed a 100- percent increase in its exports of minerals and construction materials in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year, started on March 20, 2012, compared to the preceding year, it was announced here on Saturday. Mohammad Rastad, Director-General of the provincial Port and Maritime Organization added that the goods have been sent to littoral states of the Persian Gulf, particularly Qatar, from this port city. He added Bushehr port has also seen 17 pc growth in loading and unloading goods during the said period, compared to the corresponding period last year./end
