18 Japanese restaurateurs to find Thai partners

NONTHABURI, August 17 (TNA) - A total of proprietors of 18 Japanese restaurants will officially visit Thailand late this month to find Thai business partners, said Nuntawan Sakuntanaga, director-general of Department of International Trade Promotion. In an attempt to boost Thailand’s exports, the Department has invited Thai business operators to meet for business matching, seeking a possibility of business partnership between Thai and Japanese restaurant owners, said Ms Nuntawan. The Japanese restaurant proprietors will be visiting Thailand at the invitation of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO). Two major activities will be held at a Bangkok hotel on August 25. They include negotiations on buying Thai food and finding partners on investment in Thailand. (TNA)
