1st Exports Capabilities Fair To Open Feb 6

Tehran, Jan 28, IRNA – Iranˈs First Exports Capabilities Exhibition will be held here from February 6-9, said head of the headquarters for organizing the exhibition. Talking to reporters, Hamid Reza Fazlali added that despite sanctions imposed on the country, 30 countries are expected to attend the upcoming event. Some 200 Iranian exporting companies have applied for taking part in the event, he added, noting that some 500 merchants and economic officials have been invited to take part in the event, considered Iranˈs exports gate to the world. Delegations from Italy, Spain, US, Russia, China, Japan, Argentina, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan Republic, Egypt, India, South Korea, Poland, Cuba, Vietnam, Oman and Ivory Coast have officially applied for attending the upcoming exhibition. Fazlali further noted that certain countries applying for participating in the event are among those countries which engineered the sanctions against Iran or at least involved in the implementation of the embargoes. Educational workshops on marketing in target states will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition, he said./end
