27,000 Tons Of Goods Exported To Oman, UAE From Jask Port

Jask, Hormuzgan province, Dec 17, IRNA - Chief of Jask Customs Department in Hormuzgan province Farzad Jamali said on Sunday 27,000 tons of goods were exported to Oman and the United Arab Emirates from Jask port over the past eight months. He told IRNA that the exported commodities valued at 125.276 billion rials showed an increase of 15 percent in terms of volume and value compared to the similar period last year. Jamali said the rise in the export has been due to an increase in demands from customers in the two countries. "The exports were mainly camels, fruits and rugs which are of high demands in the Persian Gulf countries," he said./end
