55% Of Iranˈs Export To Iraq Goes Through Kermanshah Province

Kermanshah, Feb 2, IRNA – Head of Kermanshah Chamber of Commerce said the province, by having 330 kilometers common border with Iraq and transferring 55 percent of Iranˈs total export to Iraq, plays a special role in exports. Speaking in the meeting of Kermanshah economic development headquarter, Kayvan Kashefi said, ˈWe aim to reach export volume of the province to the level of 10 billion dollars in the next year.ˈ He said that Iranˈs exports through Kermanshah border markets was 2 billion and 576 million dollars two years ago while the figure reached 2 billion and 792 million dollars in the last year. The official reminded that considering capacities of the province, reaching the target level of 10 billion dollars export is possible, and if necessary infra-structures can be prepared./end
