6th Intl Cement, Concrete, Construction Technologies Exhibit Opens

Tehran, Dec 28, IRNA – The Sixth International Cement, Concrete and Construction Technologies Exhibition opened in Tehran International Permanent Fairground Friday. Over 120 Iranian and foreign companies are participating in the event which is to end December 30. Companies from Turkey, India, China, Russia, UAE and Italy are displaying their achievements in the ongoing exhibition. All types of equipment and parts of an asphalt factory as well as construction equipment and technologies including concrete processing and stone breaking equipment are also put into display. Holding four specialized workshops on the sidelines of the exhibition is also on the agenda. Generating employment opportunities, promoting exports, providing the chance for the Iranian companies to get acquainted with the latest technologies in the world, offering ways to tackle air pollution in cement factories and creating a chance for exchanging views between the experts and cement and concrete producers are among the objectives of the organizers. Four commercial delegations from Iraq, Afghanistan, India and Kuwait are to visit the exhibition to later review ways of cooperation with the Iranian cement producers./end
