80% Of Iran Tiles, Ceramics Production Exported To Iraq

Tehran, Dec 3, IRNA – Head of the Union of Tile Producers and Sellers, Mostafa Gudarzi, said on Sunday that 80 percent of Iran's tiles and ceramics production are exported to Iraq. Gudarzi told IRNA that Iraqi market has encouraged promotion of tile industry in Iran. He said a part of Iranian tiles and ceramics are exported to Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Central Asia. He added that 60 million square meters of tiles worth $270 million were exported last year./end
