Abu Dhabi Crown Prince receives French Defence Minister

Abu Dhabi (WAM): His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces, yesterday met at Mamoura building, the visiting French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, who is currently visiting the U.A.E. Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Le Drian and his accompanying delegation, and discussed with him friendship and cooperation ties between the two friendly countries. During the meeting, they also discussed strategic cooperation and coordination in a number of military and defence domains in the light of keenness of leaders of the two countries on promoting cooperation level to broader horizons in the best interest of the two sides. Sheikh Mohamed and Le Drian also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, in addition to latest regional and international developments. Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the U.A.E.
