Agrarian sector projected to grow 6.2 percent in 2018, Azerbaijan`s economy minister

Baku, November 23, AZERTAC “The agrarian sector is forecast to increase 6.2 per cent in 2018,” Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev announced at the parliament`s plenary session on a draft state budget for the next year. According to Mustafayev, 219 million manats will be allocated for development works in agro-parks, adding that 133 million manats of this allocation will be provided by the state. The minister said the service sector in the country will grow 2.7 per cent, while the tourism and transport sectors will see a 6.6 per cent and 2.5 per cent growth respectively in 2018.
