Agriculture innovations to be showcased on March 8

BANGKOK, March 4 (TNA) -- The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives is set to showcase agricultural researches, particularly agricultural innovations at an event, set to be held on March 8. The event would be held at the Centara Grand Lat Phrao Hotel in Bangkok, where 22 projects from the Agricultural Research Development Agency (ARDA) would be put on display for visitors to enjoy or use as a model for future researches and innovations. ARDA Director Ms Phanphimol Chanyanuwat said the event is comprised of three main parts including the signing of a Memorandum of Understandin (MoU) on the development of central agricultural research system between 11 organisations, such as ARDA, National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Kasetsart University (KU), and other concerned agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, with an aim to integrate digital data and knowledge to help further develop the national economy. The second part the an award presenting ceremony of 20 awards for outstanding 22 ARDA projects, and the last part is an exhibition on researches and products, including the Thailand 4.0, Database for Research, Smart-Service-Smart-Officer, and the exhibition of works and researches from 20 researchers whom have presented their works and technology, as well as a research exhibition which coincides with both the government and ministry's policies.
