AIIB allocates $600 mln for TANAP

Beijing, December 21, AZERTAC The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has approved a $600 million loan for Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP), according to Beijing headquarters of the bank. AIIB Vice-President D J Pandian said that along with strengthening Azerbaijan’s economy TANAP will also contribute to strengthening Turkey’s and Europe’s energy security. The loan was allocated to the Southern Gas Corridor Joint Stock Company (SGC) with sovereign guarantee by the Republic of Azerbaijan.
