Aminvest Wins 'Malaysia's Best Investment Management Company' Award For Fourth Time

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- AmInvest has won 'Malaysia's Best Investment Management Company' Award for the fourth time at the World Finance Investment Management Awards 2015 based in UK. In a statement Thursday, the funds management arm of AMMB Holdings Bhd said the recognition made it the only investment management company in the history of the Awards worldwide to have received and maintained such high standards. Its Chief Executive Officer, Maznah Mahbob, said AmInvest could provide a compelling value proposition in the global marketplace, both the conventional and syariah-compliant investment spaces in terms of risk and return across all asset classes. "Looking ahead, we remain focused on continuously growing our investors' investments by not only delivering consistent investment performance but providing investment solutions that can capitalise on opportunities in all market conditions," she said. AmInvest said its total assets under management (AUM) has been growing at an average of 12 per cent annually since 2009. "The syariah-compliant business has recorded exponential average growth of 39 per cent for the same period. "As at August 2015, AUM stood at approximately US$8.99 billion (RM38 billion), of which US$1.65 billion (RM7 billion) was syariah-compliant," it said.
