Angkasa To Explore China Market

PETALING JAYA (Selangor, Malaysia) April 12 (Bernama) -- Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (Angkasa) will use its cooperation with Lanzhou Prefecture in China as its new platform to explore the market in that country. Its president Abdul Fattah Abdullah said Angkasa targeted to market RM2 million worth of products to Lanzhou. "Angkasa is targeting to export 10 containers of food, small and medium industry products and cosmetic products to China at the end of this year. Each container has about RM200,000 worth of goods. "We are ready to share our expertise with China in halal products as they are interested in emulating us in producing goods that meet syariah standard," he told reporters here Tuesday Earlier, a delegation from Lanzhou Prefecture led by its Prefectural Committee leader Niu Xiangdong paid him a visit. Abdul Fattah who is also Asean Cooperative Organisation (ACO) president said Angkasa planned to open a restaurant in China. -- BERNAMA
