Another quadrilateral meeting of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and European Commission to be held in Astana

Baku, June 2, AZERTAC Another quadrilateral meeting of the heads of the fuel and energy sector of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and representatives of the European Commission is expected to be held in Astana, in July, said European Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic, according to Anadolu news agency. He emphasized that last month the heads of the fuel and energy sector of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and representatives of the European Commission met to discuss Trans-Caspian gas pipeline project and the creation of a relevant working group. Sefcovic said the European Union will fully support the transportation of Turkmenistan's natural gas via the Caspian Sea to Europe. Turkmenistan's natural gas can be transported to Europe through Trans-Caspian gas pipeline crossing the Caspian Sea via South gas corridor.
