Another well to be drilled in Umid field, SOCAR president

Baku, June 3, AZERTAC ”Another well will be drilled in Umid field in the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea, president of the state oil company (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev has told the 22nd International "Caspian Oil and Gas 2015" conference held in Baku. He said there are now two operational wells in the field, which was discovered in 2010. “Oil production is in progress now from these two fields.” “Hydrocarbon reserves of Umid field are estimated to be 200 billion cubic meters of gas and 40 million tons of condensate," said the SOCAR President.
