Antalya resort city hosts 12 percent more tourists

ANTALYA (A.A) - November 14, 2011 - The number of tourists, who visited Turkey's southern resort city Antalya, increased 12 percent in January-November period of 2011 when compared to the same period of 2010. According to figures of Antalya Culture & Tourism Directorate, Antalya hosted 10,436,007 tourists who arrived in the city via airways since the beginning of 2011. This figure was 9,316,040 between January 1 and November 13, 2010; 8,402,548 in the same period in 2009; and 8,708,470 in the mentioned period in 2008.
