Armenia to join EAEU agreement on exchanging information in financial sector

MOSCOW, February 8. /TASS/. Armenia, which became a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) last year, will join the Agreement on the exchange of information in the financial sector, including confidential, to create conditions in the financial markets to ensure the free movement of the capital. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed First Vice Premier Igor Shuvalov to sign on behalf of the Russian government the protocol on Armenia’s accession to this agreement, says a government decree posted on the official legal information website. Other EAEU members concluded this agreement on December 23, 2014. The Eurasian Economic Union comprises Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. Read more
