Asia Capital Re Receives A- Rating From A.M. Best

Best, has affirmed Asia Capital Reinsurance Group Pte Ltd’s (Asia Capital Re) A- (Excellent) financial strength rating, with stable outlook. In a note, A.M. Best said it considered Asia Capital Re's business profile and balance sheet strength. A.M. Best's franchise has grown across Asia-Pacific since it started writing business, it said. Concurrently, A.M. Best has also given Asia Capital Re's associated companies -- Asia Capital Reinsurance Malaysia Sdn Bhd, ACR ReTakaful MEA B.S.C.and ACR ReTakaful Bhd -- affirmations of their financial strength ratings of A- (Excellent) with stable outlook. Asia Capital Re’s rating has been affirmed annually by A.M. Best since the reinsurer's inception in 2006. Asia Capital Re is also rated A- (Strong), within stable outlook, by Standard & Poor’s. The company has an exclusive focus on providing clients reinsurance solutions for large and specialist risks in the pan-Asian region.
