AsiaBio Unit Signs MoU With Three Chinese Companies

KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 (Bernama) -- Asia Bioenergy Technologies Bhd’s (AsiaBio) unit, Asiabio Capital Sdn Bhd (ABC), has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with three China-based companies to explore opportunities to develop, produce and export halal-certified food products globally. In a filing to Bursa Malaysia Monday, AsiaBio said the MoU, signed on June 3, 2017, was between ABC and Hong Kong YRZC International Group Co, Ltd, Shan Xi Hong Hui Food Ltd Liability Company and Shan Dong Wang Jia Yuan Zi Halal Food Brewing Co, Ltd. Under the MoU, ABC will be appointed as an exclusive business development agent in China. AsiaBio said the MoU was not expected to have any effect on its revenue, net assets, share capital and shareholdings structure. -- BERNAMA
