ASK President invites Indian businessmen to cooperate with Azerbaijani counterparts

Baku, February 12, AZERTAC President of Azerbaijan National Confederation of Entrepreneurs` (Employers) Organizations (ASK) Mammad Musayev has invited Indian businessmen to cooperate with Azerbaijani counterparts as he addressed the event titled "MAKE IN INDIA", co-organized by ASK and the Indian Embassy in Baku. He noted that under President Ilham Aliyev's leadership ample opportunities were created for the establishment of state-of-the-art entrepreneurship entities in all sectors of the economy. “Special attention is paid to the development of non-oil sectors, and purposeful management of oil production and revenues. Great importance is also attached to the international cooperation with the aim of developing the economy, necessary work is being carried out to study new investment opportunities,” he said. Underlining that Azerbaijan attaches special importance to the development of entrepreneurship, Musayev drew the audience's attention to the fact that “currently a favorable business environment has been built in the country”. He noted the importance of the event, saying that bringing together Azerbaijani and Indian businessmen aims to explore the possibilities of developing cooperation between business communities. Indian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sanjay Rana said such meetings pave the way for the development of the relations between the two countries. He said that the people of Azerbaijan and India shared a number of cultural similarities. The Ambassador said business exchange will contribute to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries. The event also featured presentations by Norbu Negi, Second Secretary and Head of the Trade Department of the Indian Embassy and Nurlan Guliyev, Deputy Director of ASK Business Consulting LLC .
