Assyrian MP Hails Resistance Economy

Orumiyeh, March 8, IRNA -- Assyrian member of Iran’s Majlis (Parliament) Yonathan Betkolia on Saturday described “Resistance Economy” as fruitful for the country saying it would turn Iran into a key power in the region. Speaking to IRNA, Betkolia said the Resistance Economy, set by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, means self-sufficiency. Although some wrong analyses said the Resistance Economy is aimed at breaking connections with the world, it seeks establishment of constructive interactions with the world countries, he stressed. Resistance Economy policies set by the Supreme Leader is not useful only for the sanctions period but also for the time when restrictions will be lifted, said the Assyrian MP./end
