Attraction Of Foreign Investment Up By 7% In 11th Government

Shahr-e Kord, Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari, Sept 17, IRNA – A senior official at Iran Investment Organization said foreign investments in the 11th government have increased by 7%. Abolfazl Koudehei, addressing a local gathering on development knowledge, said most European and Asian countries, especially regional states, have sent investment delegations to Iran and expressed willingness in making investment in the country. He said offering suitable opportunities in an effort to attract Iranian capitalists residing abroad has been specifically put on the agenda. The official further remarked that currently due to the economic sanctions imposed on Iran, transfer of capital to the country is the most difficult issue with regard to foreign investment. Outlining that the strategy of the 11th government is encouragement and support for foreign investors, Koudehei stressed that the government is ready to support foreign investors and help them in different stages of offering information, methods of investment and receiving permits./end
