Azerbaijan’s efforts to improve water industry hailed

Baku, March 15, AZERTAC President of the World Water Council Benedito Braga has hailed Azerbaijan’s efforts to improve the water industry. Azerbaijan`s attention to the industry should be an example to other countries, he told "Water resources, hydro-technical installations and environment" international conference in Baku. Braga emphasized that most of countries allocate just three or four per cent of their total revenues for the improvement of the water industry. “But this amount should be at least six or seven per cent. Azerbaijan channels 10 per cent of its revenues to this industry. This is an outstanding example,” he said.
