Azerbaijan to be represented at the UNHCR’s Executive Committee session

Baku, September 22 (AzerTAc). The 65th session of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Executive Committee will be convened through September 29 – October 3 in Geneva, Switzerland. At the event, Azerbaijan is to be represented by Mr.Ali Hasanov, Vice-Premier, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs of Azerbaijan Republic, and the Head of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Firudin Nabiyev. Azerbaijan has become a member of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Executive Committee as a result of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) voting on April 26, 2012. .
