Azerbaijan, Eurasian Development Bank discuss cooperation opportunities

Baku, December 5, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov has met Chairman of the Management Board at Eurasian Development Bank Dmitry Pankin to discuss the bilateral cooperation opportunities. The Azerbaijani minister highlighted the macroeconomic situation in the country, economic reforms implemented by the government under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the local and regional projects, as well as transnational projects involving the Republic of Azerbaijan. Stressing that they attach great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan, Dmitry Pankin noted the opportunities for the Bank to fund projects in the transport, transit, energy, private sector and other areas.
