Azerbaijan to make presentation on economic perspectives at EBRD head office

Baku, November 24, AZERTAC Azerbaijan is to make presentation on its economic perspectives at the head office of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev stated as he met the EBRD's Vice President of Banking, Alain Pilloux. The sides discussed further expansion of ties between Azerbaijan and EBRD, also focused on current economic reforms and their fruitful results. Shahin Mustafayev in particular noted the efficient and long-term cooperation between the country and the Bank, EBRD’s support for financial, energy and infrastructure projects. Of this, the Minister especially mentioned the EBRD supported “South Gas Corridor”, including TANAP project. EBRD's Vice President of Banking, Alain Pilloux hailed economic achievements in the republic, noting the country’s successful reforms in the entrepreneurial, customs, licensing and banking fields.
