Azerbaijan, Romania discuss prospects for economic cooperation

Baku, October 31 (AzerTAc). State Secretary of the Romanian Foreign Ministry and deputy FM Stejarel Olaru has visited the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy to meet Minister Natig Aliyev. The meeting focused on the history of the Azerbaijan-Romania relations, as well as the role of reciprocal visits of the two countries` presidents in development of the ties between the two countries. The Azerbaijani minister said there were good opportunities for development of the Azerbaijan-Romania cooperation in a variety of fields. He also stressed beneficial usage of these opportunities. Aliyev also expressed his confidence that the two countries would implement new economic projects. Stejarel Olaru proposed increasing investment projects of the Azerbaijani government in various fields of the Romanian economy.
