Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan discuss cooperation in energy, oil and gas sector

Astana, September 13, AZERTAC Azerbaijani delegation led by president of the State Oil Company (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev visited Turkmenistan on September 10. During the 2-day visit, Mr. Abdullayev met with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The meeting discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in the fields of energy, oil and gas. They also exchanged views on prospects for strengthening cooperation. The SOCAR president has also met with the deputy premier Baymyrat Hojamuhammedov. Azerbaijani ambassador to Turkmenistan Vahdat Sultanzade attended the meetings.
