Bahrain Asian Traders Committee convenes

Manama, Feb. 18. (BNA) -- Bahrain Asian Traders Committee (BATC) at Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), headed by Mohammed Sajid Izhar Ulhaq, has commended the success of the consultative meeting organised by the committee, in the presence of representatives of Asian embassies in the Kingdom of Bahrain. BATC Chairman expressed appreciation to the embassies' representatives for their positive cooperation. He affirmed the committee's keenness on holding such interactive meetings to discuss obstacles facing traders and find solutions. This came during the committee's regular meeting, underscoring the importance of following-up with the implementation of previous consultative meeting's recommendations. BATC Chairman expressed appreciation to Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani for his cooperation and directives so as to solve issues pertaining to the Asian traders in Bahrain. He pointed out that BATC will organise a number of important economic events. The meeting was attended by BATC members.
