Bahrain-China ties praised

Manama, Dec. 4 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister, Zayed R. Alzayani, on Sunday received Ivan Tam the Kingdom of Bahrain's deputy honorary consul in Hong Kong, and Oscar Chow deputy chairman of Hong Kong Bahrain Joint Business Association (HKBBA). The minister praised the excellent efforts exerted by Bahrain's deputy consul in Hong Kong and the efforts of the Hong Kong Bahrain Joint Business Association (HKBBA) and their remarkable role in boosting the bilateral economic ties with the People's Republic of China in general and Hong Kong in particular as well as their efforts in promoting investment opportunities and showcasing the investment-friendly attractive environment in Bahrain for all sizes and types of investment. He also cited the effective role of mutual exchange of visits and meetings by officials and businessmen to achieve the aspired growth in these ties and to increase the volume of trade exchange and economic cooperation between the two sides. The ministry's Undersecretary for Trade Affairs, Nader Khalil Al Moayed, was also present during the meeting.
