Bandar Abbas, Barcelona To Expand Co-op

Madrid, Jan 9, IRNA – Officials of two ports of Bandar Abbas in Iran and Barcelona in Spain discussed ways to expand cooperation with each other. An Iranian delegation from Hormozgan Province that is visiting Barcelona met port installations and discussed issues of mutual interest with related officials. Port Barcelona in the city of Barcelona, capital of Catalonia province in north east of Spain, is the largest port in the Mediterranean Sea for passenger ships and the fourth largest port in the world after ports in Caribbean Sea, in central America. Port Barcelona has four sections of Commercial, civil, energy, and logistics, each of which has its own installations and equipment. The port has nine passenger terminals./end
