BANK OF MONGOLIA PURCHASES 1.1 TONS OF GOLD IN JANUARY

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As of January, 2018, the Bank of Mongolia purchased 1,128 tons of gold, which was increased by 338kg or 46.5 per cent compared to the same period of previous year. The Bank of Mongolia had reported earlier that, 682kgs of gold were purchased in the first eleven days of January. The gold price has been constantly high at the London Metal Exchange. In connection to it, the Bank of Mongolia’s average price to purchase gold was at MNT 103,531.75 per gram throughout January.
