Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to the Bank of Mongolia, money supply (broad money or M2) at the end this March reached MNT 7,293.7 billion, increasing 55.7 billion or 0.8 percent against the previous month and by 1,188.9 billion or 19.5 percent against same period of the previous year. A currency issued in circulation reached MNT 687.7 billion, going up 12.1 billion or 1.8 percent against the previous month and by 39.3 billion or 6.1 percent against same period of 2012. Loans outstanding by the end of this March amounted to MNT 7,383.6 billion, increasing 215.1 billion or 3.0 percent compared to the previous month and by 1,602.1 billion or 27.7 percent compared to same period of the previous year. Principals in arrears reached MNT 99.9 billion, decreasing 11.0 billion or 9.9 percent compared to the previous month, but increasing 38.5 billion or 62.7 percent against same period of 2012. The non-performing loans over the bank system reached MNT 308.6 billion, increasing 2.7 billion or 0.9 percent compared to the previous month but decreasing 11.6 billion or 3.6 percent against same period of 2012.
