Bank of Mongolia reports

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Bank of Mongolia has reported that money supply (broad money or M2) at the end of April 2013, reached MNT 7,197.5 billion, decreasing MNT 96.2 billion or 1.3 per cent against the previous month, and increasing MNT 834.6 billion or 13.1 per cent against the previous year. A currency issued in circulation reached MNT 759.8 billion, increasing MNT 72.1 billion or 10.5 per cent against the previous month, and increasing by MNT 50.9 billion or 7.2 per cent against the previous year. Loans outstanding at the end of April 2013, amounted to MNT 7,764.0 billion, increasing by MNT 380.4 billion or 5.2 per cent against the previous month, and by MNT 1,828.0 billion or 30.8 per cent against the previous year. Principals in arrears at the end of April 2013 reached MNT 110.9 billion, increasing MNT 11.0 billion or 11.0 per cent against the previous month, by MNT 39.7 billion or 55.8 per cent compared to same period of the previous year. The non-performing loans over the bank system reached MNT 310.5 billion, increasing MNT 1.9 billion or 0.6 per cent against the previous month, and decreasing MNT 6.1 billion or 1.9 per cent against the previous year. 18.5 million shares valued at MNT 10.3 billion were sold .
