Barzan Holding Signs MoU with Milaha to Enhance Logistics Cooperation

Doha, June 13 (QNA) - Barzan Holding today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qatar Navigation (Milaha) to enhance logistic cooperation between the two parties. The memorandum was signed by Barzan Holdings' Managing Director, Nasser Hassan Al Naimi, and President and CEO of Milaha Abdulrahman Essa Al-Mannai. The MoU aims to enhance aspects of the expertise and competencies of the two parties through the use of the extensive experience of Milaha in marine and logistics services as well as full knowledge of integrated solutions in the field of transport and supply chain solutions, which will be used by Barzan Holding in all projects related to enhancing the military and security capabilities of the maritime sectors. Barzan Holdings' Managing Director, Nasser Hassan Al Naimi said that they believe in the importance of setting accurate plans for projects before they start to be implemented, and this requires examining all the different aspects with the specialists to ensure the best results of the projects. Al Naimi added that the signing of the MOU with Milaha, comes as part of our strategic plans to work through an integrated system, and are closely linked with all official bodies of the State. For his part, President and CEO of Milaha Abdulrahman Essa Al-Mannai said that Milaha is proud to be the first public shareholding company registered in Qatar and holds the Commercial Register No. 1 and has a long history and extensive experience in supporting various military sectors in the country, adding: "we are pleased to sign this Memorandum today with our partners Barzan Holding. We look forward to working forward and building fruitful cooperation with Barzan Holding and providing integrated solutions through our strong expertise and capabilities in the maritime and logistics services in the interest of our beloved country Qatar. " The projects carried out by Barzan Holding are diverse and include aspects related to the support of various military sectors (air, land and sea), as well as a wide range of projects related to communications, software and others. The company is also seeking to strengthen the role of research and development in the military and security fields, with the aim of producing country-specific patents for its mission to invest in human capital.
