BCCI committee holds meeting

Manama, June 30 (BNA): The newly-formed committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Almubadrat) has held a meeting centered on determining the committee’s strategy and setting its action plan. Speaking about the purpose of the committee, Ahmed Binhindi Executive Bureau member and head of the committee said: "We at the committee aspire to invigorate the private sector and enhance its contribution to the national economy by exploring business and investment opportunities, encouraging the market’s competitiveness, and providing assistance to business owners". He added: "We have looked closely into the case of struggling business owners, and we are to partner with government bodies and authorities to provide assistance and support to help these business owners and put them back on the track of profitability."
