BCCI delegation participates in 46th FGCCC meeting

Manama, May 4 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Chairman Khalid Al-Moayyed, First Deputy Chairman Othman Al-Rayyes and Executive Director Nabeel Al-Mahmoud have participated in the 46th meeting of Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC) recently held in Oman. The meeting discussed topics related to Gulf customs union, vital border crossings, and the challenges facing the application of GCC specifications. The meeting stressed the need to establish cooperation with the International Labour Organisation and Arab Labour Organisation. It also discussed the Gulf Economic Forum and the Joint Gulf Exhibition to be held in near future. Bahrain delegation also participated in the Economic Forum and associating Investment Exhibition themed (Oman .. Investment Opportunities) held under the patronage of Minister of Trade and Industry. Which discussed four topics, including the elements of success of the investment opportunities in tourism sector, investment opportunities in food security in Oman, privatization and the role of investment funds in promoting investment environment, and investment in the free zones.
