BCCI marks 10th anniversary of US-Bahrain FTA

Manama, Apr. 14 (BNA): Marking the 10th anniversary of the US-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement (FTA), the Enterprise Initiative Centre of Bahrain Chamber and Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and in collaboration with the U.S Embassy to the Kingdom of Bahrain is hosting an event titled "10 Years of FTA, Lessons Learnt & the Way Ahead" on Sunday. The event will emphasize the advantages of the FTA and its impact on the national economy on the one hand, and means of optimizing the FTA, on the other hand. In this regard, the chamber encourages the business community to attend this important event which will be commenced with an opening remark followed by an induction about the FTA, a briefing about the volume of trade, other countries’ experience with the FTA, and success stories.
