BDB, Mannai Technological Facilitations sign MoU

Manama, Aug. 3 (BNA): Bahrain Development Bank Group (BDB) and Mannai Technological Facilitations have signed, in BDB HQ, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in field of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) development. The MoU states that Mannai Technological Facilitations shall provide consultancy services in the field of information technology (IT) for enterprises and entrepreneurs from BDB clients through coordination between the both parties. In addition, a free of charge evaluation for enterprises information technology is carried out and consultations for developing information technology strategy are provided, as well as the clients to benefit from these services with a discount of 25% of the total cost of technology solutions required for the institution. Shaikh Hesham bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, deputy general, Development Services Division in Bahrain Development Bank, commented: "Today, we are pleased to announce this worthy initiative in cooperation with Mannai Technological Facilitations, which is considered as a successful and specialist project owned by one of our Bahraini entrepreneurs. In addition, this initiative and cooperation aim to provide value added services for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), especially in Bahrain market, support Bahraini entrepreneurs in developing and expanding the performance and activities of their various enterprises by adopting technological systems and resolutions appropriate for such enterprises for reasonable cost, benefiting from the free consultancy services that the clients of Bahrain Development Bank may obtain in this field". Shaikh Hesham explained that this is a part of BDB Group endeavors to enhance the developmental services, provide new programs and services that contribute in developing and enhancing the performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and keep pace with the accelerated technological developments, as we live in information technology era and no institution can continue without using the various technological solutions in running and operating its various activities and operations. He pointed out that Bahrain Development Bank will help entrepreneurs to benefit from the services that will be provided along with the company through coordination between both parties so as to achieve the objects of this initiative embodied in supporting the performance of small and medium enterprises SMEs and supporting its information technology infrastructure in order to enhance its performance and competitiveness both locally and internationally. On his part, Khalifa Al Mannai, Managing Director of Mannai Technological Facilitations, said: "We appraise the MoU signed with Bahrain Development Bank, as we will work hard to support BDB clients in terms of SMEs sector through what we provide in the advanced services in the technological solutions field to develop enterprises performance and to put them on the right track in order to enable them to accomplish to the fullest".
