Big 5 Qatar Exhibition to Open Monday

Doha, September 23 (QNA) - Under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Big 5 Qatar exhibition will open on Monday, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). The three-day event, in its first edition will showcase the latest construction solutions offered by more than 240 companies from 21 countries, in addition to live demonstrations of major construction products and more than 40 free workshops. Rawad Saleem, General Manager DMG Events Doha, said: "We will showcase different products from seven sectors to be the ideal place for them to establish relationships, get together, create new products and enhance the professional skills of employees. Visitors will benefit from a variety of products from more than 240 exhibitors from 21 countries representing various sectors and construction processes including electrical, mechanical, health engineering, interior decoration and finishing, construction tools, building materials, construction techniques and innovations, concrete, plant machinery and vehicles. In addition, the exhibition will offer unique educational activities to provide visitors with the latest information on the latest trends, tools and techniques in the field of construction. The workshop features continuing professional development includes various topics related to building and smart and sustainable cities, as well as the series of "Business Women in Construction." "The BIG 5 Qatar will provide an important platform for companies wishing to develop their business in this vibrant market, especially in the ongoing preparations for the 2022 World Cup and the 2030 National Vision," said Jose Vicente, Chief Executive Officer of Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
