BM HOLDS FX AUCTION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the foreign exchange auction held Tuesday, the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offer of US dollars and Chinese Yuan from local commercial banks. The BoM sold USD 28.0 million at a closing rate of MNT 1,869.00 and CNY 78.33 million at a closing rate of MNT 302.15. The same day, the BoM received MNT Swap agreement bid offer in equivalent to USD 6.0 million and USD Swap agreement ask offer of USD 2.0 million from local commercial banks and accepted the MNT Swap agreement offer.
