BOM HOLDS FX AUCTION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the foreign exchange auction on Thursday, the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offer of USD and CNY from local commercial banks. The BOM sold 14.4 million USD as closing rate of MNT 1,838.20 and 20.0 million CNY as closing rate of MNT 296.76. The same day, the BoM received MNT Swap agreement bid offer in equivalent to USD 69.7 million and USD Swap agreement bid offer in equivalent to USD 50.0 million from local commercial banks and accepted all the offers.
