BoM holds FX auction

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the Foreign Exchange Auction on Thursday, the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offers of USD 6.65 million between the rates of MNT 1,982.00-1,982.95 and CNY 5.0 in a rate of MNT 319.30. The BoM did not accept the offer. The BoM received USD Swap agreement bid offer equivalent to USD 20.0 million, MNT swap agreement of USD 1.0 million and swap agreement bid offer of CNY 25.0 million from local commercial banks and accepted the offers.
