BOM HOLDS FX AUCTION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the Foreign Exchange Auction held on October 21 the Bank of Mongolia (BoM) received bid offer of USD 10.8 million as closing rate of MNT 18451.51-1853.51 and CNY 82.8 million as closing rate of MNT 302.40-302.81 from local commercial banks. The BoM has sold CNY 38.0 million as closing rate of MNT 302.60. The BoM has received USD SWAP agreement ask offer of USD 50.0 million and MNT Swap agreement bid offer in equivalent to USD 5.8 million from local commercial banks and accepted all offer.
