BOM HOLDS FX AUCTION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/On the Foreign Exchange Auction held on October 23, the Bank of Mongolia received bid offer of USD 19.5 million as closing rate of MNT 1852.70-1853.60 and CNY 96.0 million as closing rate of MNT 302.51-303.15 from local commercial banks. The BoM has sold CNY 37.0 million as closing rate of MNT 302.89. The BoM has received MNT Swap agreement ask offer in equivalent to USD 102.0 million and bid offer in equivalent to USD 3.5 million and CNY SWAP agreement offer of CNY 5.5 million from local commercial banks and accepted all offer.
